"Zombieland Saga" Movie Announced for 2025 Release, Kick-Off Visual and PV Revealed

The Zombieland Saga movie was first announced during the live event Zombieland Saga LIVE ~FranChouChou, Rise Up with Saga~ held in October 2021 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba. The newly revealed visual captures the iconic moment when producer Kotaro Tatsumi announces the movie to the seven zombie idols of Franchouchou, showcasing their signature undead appearances. The PV, on the other hand, begins with the shocking scene from the first episode of the 2018 Zombieland Saga anime, followed by highlights from both Season 1 and Season 2, accompanied by the series' memorable music and passionate lines from the characters.
In conjunction with the announcement, comments from key producers were shared. Nobuhiro Takenouchi, producer at Cygames, and Manabu Otsuka, producer at MAPPA, expressed their enthusiasm for the project. Additionally, Takahiro Oguma from Avex Pictures, who is overseeing the movie's promotion, shared his excitement about bringing the Zombieland Saga story to the big screen.
